Drive through sandhill country towards Kings Canyon before stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station. The climb may take up to three hours and is for those with a moderate level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, which is an easier walk for those who want to take it easy.

A cooked breakfast is included in the price however lunch is not, so be sure to bring your own or bring money to purchase some along the way. Regardless of which route you take, you're in store for some of the most impressively rugged scenery the NT has to offer - so book your Kings Canyon tour online today!
“ We had a fantastic experience in Kings Canyon Full Day Tour from Uluru. Amazing and fantastic adventure! We had a stunning view from the top of Kings Canyon and looped roughly 6 km. It was indescribable. Jacob and Jessie, driver and tour guide, are really experts. I highly recommend this tour.

3 years agoFantastic guides and stunning area. My only criticism is if you could not make the rim walk the 20 min canyon walk was very disappointing for the price paid. I would not recommend this tour unless you are able to do the rim walk, and feel the cost should reflect this.
3 years agoWe really enjoyed the tour. The bus was always on time, the guides were kind and friendly. My son and I took Rim walk that was a great experience, the view was amazing, felt so good!!! My daughter and husband took an easy walk that was a little boring not enough. but overall the tour was great! Thanks!
4 years agoHad an amazing time with spectacular VIEWS! Such a pretty place in the middle of nowhere. We had a great guide, they were very friendly and full of knowledge. The breakfast was great, make sure you take cash as there are no card machines there. The pub where we had lunch had fantastic meals and range! Would recommend it!
5 years agoThis tour was very well organised. The guides were very knowledgable about the area we were touring. Kings Canyon is spectacular, and although the hike to the rim was quite challenging for some of the older and less fit members of the group, the patience and assistance of the guides certainly helped them and ensured they got the most out of the tour. A big thank you to Ivor and Dylan for a very enjoyable day.
6 years agoThe whole days activities and stops were very well planned and time allowance was sufficient. Kings Canyon itself was so beautiful - I did the rim walk and it had stunning scenery throughout. The guides were very friendly as well as being knowledgeable and informative throughout the whole tour. It was very reassuring that they put safety as their highest priority. I would definitely recommend this tour and advise others not to be put off by the early start.
6 years agoGreat place to visit. A spectacular walk through the canyon. A bit expensive, would have been better if lunch was also included.
6 years agoI did the Kings Canyon Day Tour starting from Ayers Rock Resort. The bus arrived perfectly on time and was very clean and comfortable. A real plus are the USB-Ports (one for every seat) so you can charge your phone or camera while driving!! Further, the bus had a good functioning air conditioning. The guides were very nice and the information they gave very interesting! It was not only about stories from the aborigines, they are interesting, don't get me wrong, but I liked getting some 'scientific' facts which other tours didn't provide. The Canyon itself is just stunning and everyone who has a spare day should visit it! Only downfall to the tour was that we had to walk very very quickly, so it was hard to make stops for yourself to take photos on the way and not just at the lookout points or just rest a little. I'd rather have the tour last a little longer even if it would be a little more expensive and not having to rush like that. But other than that, an amazing tour, with amazing people!
7 years agoWe visited Uluru in early July with our two teenage daughters. Even with the early start of 4:30am this is simply a must when visiting Uluru. The three hour drive to Kings Creek Station gives everyone a chance to have a little sleep and then gently wake up to some carefully chosen songs playing softly as the sun comes up. Breakfast at the station is hearty and they even provided gluten free bread for the coeliacs in the family. it was great to see the landscape out of the resort and Kings Canyon itself is amazing. We weren't sure which walk to do but since we'd had a huge walk the day prior we decided on the walk through the Canyon instead of the more difficult rim walk (which we plan to do next time). It felt great to be in the canyon itself, amongst all the beautiful trees and creek bed. The walk was great and our bus driver/tour guide, Terry, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and he taught us so much about the medicinal and food properties of the plants we were seeing. Looking up at the canyon walls was amazing. It is such a memorable place to explore. Afterwards we had the option of a helicopter ride over the canyon before lunch. We were keen to do it as a family but they only catered for three passengers so we decided against it. It was nice to wander around the resort after lunch and our bus trip back was smooth and relaxing. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend this tour. This trip is a definite 'must do' when visiting Uluru.
7 years agoA fantastic day! Ken the bus driver was brilliant and very knowledgeable. Tashi the guide was very personable and very enthusiastic. The long drive didn't seem long at all because of Ken's expert commentary. The bus was very clean and comfortable. Although Kings Canyon is large distance from Uluru it is a must do experience. I do think the pensioner discount should be a little larger as the rim walk is quite restrictive, lessening the experience for them.
7 years ago“With the option to join the more strenuous Rim Walk or the relaxing Creek Bed Walk, this day trip a great choice for people of all levels of fitness.”
